Dr. Kouzes graduated valedictorian with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States 2007. She achieved her undergraduate degree in 2002 at the University of California at Santa Cruz in molecular, cellular and developmental biology with highest honors in the major.
Her practice emphasis is on conditions involving the muscles, bones, and joints. She applies the principle of short term care to obtain long term results, and incorporates exercise and home based activities to help patients become independent.
Dr. Kouzes is paneled with most major health insurances carriers. However health plans have specific benefits and you should check with your carrier about your plan’s coverage of chiropractic care.
Dr. Kouzes served on the Rules Committee of the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners (OBCE), before being appointed to the OBCE in 2013 and elected secretary in 2015.
When not working Dr. Kouzes enjoys spending time with her family and working in her garden where she is growing rare edible fruits that include honeyberries, goji berries, paw-paw, cornelian cherries, and alpine raspberries.
